Zelos · Breakout Rider · a published alert, not a broker

Breakout Rider, by Zelos.

Breakout Rider screens the market every session for one specific pattern — a stock clearing resistance and actually holding above it, not spiking through and fading. It publishes the same alert, on the same schedule, to every subscriber. It's not tied to your account, doesn't know your balance, and never places a trade for you — what you do with the information is entirely up to you.

What it's actually looking for

Four shapes on a chart. Nothing else counts.

Every candidate gets sorted into one of these — or thrown out. If a stock's chart doesn't look like one of these, it doesn't matter how exciting the ticker is.

Flat base breakout

Weeks of tight, sideways chop right under a level, then it finally clears it.

Ascending triangle

Each pullback holds a higher low against the same flat ceiling — until the ceiling gives.

Breakout, then it holds

Clears the level and stays there — the follow-through that separates this from a fake-out.

Spike and fade — what it avoids

A sharp move through the level that can't hold and gives it all back. This is the shape the screen is built to reject.

How it decides

Four checks, every session, before anything gets suggested.

01

Read the market

Checks whether stocks broadly are trending up, down, or sideways first — the bar for a good setup gets stricter when the backdrop is weak.

02

Scan for bases, not spikes

Screens hundreds of stocks for ones consolidating in a tight range under a clear resistance level — then explicitly throws out anything that's already spiked through on the day without holding. Chasing an extended breakout is the most common way this kind of trade goes wrong.

03

Score it, don't just spot it

Base tightness, resistance strength, volume on the break, reward-to-risk, relative strength — scored out of 80. Below the bar, it gets dropped, even if it "looks" interesting.

04

You decide, every time

If something clears the bar, the alert publishes with the entry, stop, target, and reward:risk laid out, plus a general risk-sizing rule of thumb — never a number calculated from your account, since Zelos never sees it. What you do with that information, in your own brokerage account, is entirely your call.

The discipline, not the hype

An illustrative walkthrough, not a highlight reel.

Breakout Rider is newly launched, so there's no live account history to show yet. Here's exactly how the screen and scoring treat a real setup shape — shown honestly as a sample, not as a completed trade.

The rules that don't bend.

✓

No account connection, ever. Zelos never asks for your brokerage credentials and never links to any account. There's nothing to authorize and nothing for it to touch — it publishes an alert page, full stop.

✓

Nothing here places a trade. Every run only researches and reports. If you decide to act on an alert, you place that trade yourself, in your own brokerage account, on your own judgment.

✓

Sizing is a general rule of thumb, not a calculation on your money. Because Zelos never sees your balance, it can't and doesn't size a position for you — the alert offers a general guideline (like risking 1–2% of an account per idea) for you to apply to your own situation.

✓

"No trade today" is a normal outcome. The bar exists to be missed most days — that's what keeps it a strategy instead of a habit.

✓

Nothing here is a guarantee. This approach hasn't been backtested against a long track record. It's rules, applied consistently — not a promise of returns.

Questions people actually ask

When can I start using it?

Right away — the latest alert is on the site every morning. Unlock it with tokens while it's live (new accounts get free tokens), or unlock it for 3 tokens after the 4:00 pm ET close (it's free once the trade finishes). Breakout Rider runs the same rules engine as Swing Trader with a different setup pattern; it's newly launched, so there's no live track record on this specific strategy yet — you're seeing it from day one rather than after months of quiet testing.

Will it cost anything?

While an alert is live, it's unlocked with tokens: a 1-week Breakout Rider pass is 120 tokens (about $3.60), a 1-day pass is 30, and a single alert is 25 (8 after the 4:00 pm ET close). Every alert is free for everyone once its trade finishes. New accounts start with 50 free tokens. Tokens are site credit, not a subscription.

Does this trade for me?

No. Breakout Rider is a published alert, not a broker or an execution service — it never connects to any brokerage account and never places an order. It screens hundreds of stocks, scores every setup, and publishes what qualifies. What you do with that information, if anything, is entirely up to you, in your own account.

How much money do I need to use this?

None, to read it — it's general information, not tied to any account size. Since Zelos never sees your balance, it can't calculate a position size for you; the alert instead offers a general rule of thumb (like risking 1–2% of an account on any single idea) that you apply to your own situation. Think about what makes sense for you, and talk to a licensed professional if you want advice tailored to your circumstances.

What does an alert actually look like?

A single ticket — ticker, entry, stop, targets, and reward:risk, kept current at one pinned link and timestamped every time it runs so you can always tell how fresh it is. See a sample alert to check out the format before you subscribe.

Is there anything to cancel?

No — tokens aren't a subscription, so there's nothing recurring to cancel. A pass simply runs for 7 days.

How Zelos works

Zelos is a published research page, not trading software you install or connect to an account. It never asks for brokerage credentials, never sees your balance or positions, and never places an order. Every subscriber sees the same rule-based scan, on the same schedule — general information, not personalized to any individual's account or situation.

Zelos is not personalized investment advice and Zelos is not a registered investment adviser. Trading involves risk, including loss of principal. Past performance of any strategy does not guarantee future results.

Risk & disclosures

Read this before you subscribe.

Trading involves real risk of loss, including total loss of your invested capital. Markets can move against a position; nothing about Breakout Rider's rules, scoring, or past behavior removes that risk.
No performance is guaranteed, and none is promised on this page. This strategy has not been backtested against a long track record. Past behavior of any strategy — including anything eventually shown under "Plays of the week" — does not predict future results.
This is general information, published the same way to every subscriber. Zelos never connects to any brokerage account and never places a trade. If you choose to act on an alert, you do so entirely on your own, in your own account, on your own judgment — nothing here manages a position, watches a fast-moving market, or protects against a price gap or a missed notification.
This is not personalized investment advice, and Zelos is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. The sizing guidance shown is a general rule of thumb, not a calculation based on your income, other holdings, goals, or risk tolerance. Consider whether this fits your own situation, and talk to a licensed financial professional for advice that does.
Acting on any alert is your decision and your responsibility. Nothing here places, sizes, or manages an order on your behalf.
Software can fail. Bugs, downtime, or rate limits could delay or prevent an alert from publishing or updating as intended. Don't rely on Breakout Rider as your only source of information on a position.
