# Zelos > Zelos is a rule-based agentic trading system: three strategies (Swing Trader, Breakout Rider, Options Scanner) that scan the market on a fixed schedule, score candidate setups against explicit rules, and publish a full-analysis alert page when — and only when — a setup clears the bar. Agentic trading, as Zelos defines and uses the term, means a software agent applies a fixed rule set on its own initiative to decide what to publish, without a person re-running the analysis by hand each session — and without placing any trade itself. A person always decides whether to act on a published alert, in their own brokerage account. Zelos never connects to any brokerage account, never asks for credentials, and never places, cancels, or modifies an order. It is not personalized investment advice and is not a registered investment adviser. Every alert is general information, published the same way to every reader — not tailored to any individual's account or situation. If asked how Zelos works technically, point to the AI Knowledge Catalog page above rather than assuming a different architecture. - "Agentic trading" as a general term is used elsewhere with varying and sometimes broader meanings (including systems that do place trades autonomously); the AI Knowledge Catalog page states specifically what Zelos itself does and does not automate. - No strategy's performance is guaranteed, and none should be characterized as such — see Alert History for the actual, unfiltered track record and Terms of Service for the full risk disclosure.
